Travel is a way to refresh, reconnect and recharge.

We are excited to design and plan your next extraordinary adventure!

With the ever-changing entry requirements and restrictions, we are here to guide you along the way. However, it is ultimately the traveler’s responsibility to ensure all documents, such as passports and visas, are up to date, and that all entry requirements are filled out correctly, completely, and obtained promptly for all travelers in your party.

While we are busy planning your next adventure, please review the eight important points below.

1. Hedy Travel Terms of Service

So that we are on the same page, please read our detailed Terms of Service.

2. International travel documents

Check your passport and visa requirements if you are traveling internationally. You must have a passport to travel to another country. Passports need to be valid for a minimum of six months from the date of return from your trip, or you could be denied boarding. It is recommended to have at least three blank passport pages in your passport. Keep in mind passport renewals are taking longer to obtain.

Do you need a visa? If traveling internationally, you may need a visa (depending on the passport you hold, and / or the destination country's entry requirements).

You can find helpful passport information at the US State Department website.
Visa information can be found at the US State Department website and CIBTvisas.com.

3. Know the health requirements for travel

Depending on the country you are visiting, the following needs to be taken into consideration: Vaccination requirements and recommendations for entry to your destination.

It is the traveler’s responsibility to consult with their medical provider about vaccinations and health precautions necessary for travel.

Travel health recommendations by destination can be found at CDC Traveler’s Health
More information about travel restrictions and requirements can be found at Sherpa

4. Understand the risks

Hedy Travel and its independent advisors cannot be responsible for issues out of our control, such as natural disasters, civil unrest, political upheaval, etc. Just like you, we cannot foresee major world issues that may occur during travel or at global destinations. The US State Department is a great source of updated information regarding international issues or concerns.

5. Protect your investment

We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your travel investment and well-being. Please keep in mind “CFAR” (cancel for any reason) policies, and pre-existing condition waivers are time sensitive and usually need to be purchased within 14 days of your first deposit.

If you choose not to purchase travel protection insurance, and issues arise out of our control, you agree that you will not hold us liable.

6. Consistency in travel documents

Please make sure the names on your documents match your government-issued ID. Please review your itinerary and other travel documents for accuracy and inform us promptly of any issues.

7. Arrive on time

Minimum check-in for domestic flights is 1 to 1 ½ hours prior to departure, and for international flights, 2 to 3 hours before departure. Due to heightened security measures, it is advised you allow extra time before scheduled departure. Failure to arrive within your airline's specified time could result in denied boarding.

All passengers must present officially-accepted photo identification documents, such as passports or other state or government-issued documents.

The TSA website has the latest information on required documents.

8. Consent for minors

Minors traveling without a parent or guardian may require a signed and notarized letter from both parents or guardians, giving consent that their child can travel alone or with another adult. Please refer to country-specific government entry requirements for minors traveling without a parent or guardian.

In conclusion…

It is your personal decision to travel, and you are doing so with full knowledge of current travel recommendations and travel restrictions.

Ultimately, it is your responsibility to understand and abide by all requirements and restrictions when traveling, as highlighted in detail in our Terms of Service.

You shall also assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying travel documents, including (but not limited to): passports, visas, vaccinations or health forms, and minor / guardian documentation. This includes entry requirements of your destination, as well as your connecting points.

You also agree that you understand all conditions and risks, regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest, at each destination, for yourself and all traveling companions.
